On Tuesday 7th November, the RLS Amnesty International group held an AmnesTEA at lunchtime.
This offered years 7-9, an opportunity to learn more about Human Rights and the work of Amnesty International in a relaxed setting, while enjoying a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
Some of the group contributed some rather impressive bakes to the event, especially year 8 students Lily Bossey and Lucy Fripp. A couple of students even took the time to work with their DT teacher, to create an Amnesty logo stencil, to be used with icing sugar for the cakes!
The event was a success and there was a real sense of working together as a community.
If any students are interested in joining the club, please come along on a Tuesday lunchtime to room 001.
