Students in KS3 Art Club, run every week by Mrs Podlaska, have been working on a project based around conservation for a collaborative competition.
Students have been creating habitats for endangered animals from paper mache and other materials. They have been working really hard over recent months and their hard work has paid off ! The great news is that our entry has made it to the finals of the Global Canvas Art competition which is run by the David Shepherd wildlife foundation.
Over 5050 children entered from 26 countries and 4 continents so this is an amazing achievement.
The finals will be held in London at the Natural History Museum in London on March 7th where we will have to set up a display of the work that out students have produced. It’s a really prestigious event so we are thrilled to have made it in to the finals. A huge well done to Mrs Podlaska and all the students involved!
