U16 Boys Regional Hockey

Added 3 months ago

On Tuesday 5th March the boys U16 Hockey team made the long trip to Millfield School for the Regional Hockey Championship.
Back in November the team had won a place in this competition when they were crowned County Champions.  Against some quality opponents the team equipped themselves very well and gave a really good account of themselves.  The highlight of the day was a 0-0 draw against Poole Grammar School, with the team being unlucky not to win this game.  Narrow defeats to Castle School, Colyton Grammar school and Kingsbridge school but the team were always competitive and fully challenged their high profile opponents.  It was a great day with the students who enjoyed the amazing facilities at Millfield School.  This was a great reward for these students who have represented our school Hockey teams so well for the past 5 years, we hope they continue to play this game in the future as they certainly have the talent to do so.
The team were;
Nathan Springall, Callum Cook, Will Dunstan, Isaac Neal, Morgan Craven, Finn Davies, Jacob Luetchford, Ellis Baldry (GK), Jack Dunstan (Year 10), Taryn H-Collier, Tom Finley, Josh Trowt, Joss Pascoe, Orlando Davies, Noah Sydenham (coach)
