Year 8 student, Izzy Sivam, runs a sweet treats fundraising stall on the Bissoe Cycle Trail. The amazing sweet cart you will find between Bissoe and Devoran was made by a friend of Izzy’s family for his recent wedding day and then kindly donated to Izzy and her brother William for their fundraising ventures. With their garden almost attached to the cycle trail, the Sivams spotted a superb opportunity for fundraising.
Izzy’s choice of products, beautiful display, cookery skills and dedication to raising money for others has resulted in over £500 profit since the Mother’s Day weekend. Izzy’s chosen charity this year is Lander4Uganda and we are extremely grateful for all her hard work. Your donation will be very carefully spent. Previous beneficiaries of William and Izzy’s remarkable business acumen have include our Area Resource Base (The Ark) where William’s donation helped to send our students on an outdoor adventure trip to the Calvert Trust on Exmoor.
These really are 2 very remarkable and inspirational students and we can personally vouch for the quality of their homemade baked goodies so please support them if you find yourself on the Coast to Coast Cycle trail. The stall is very close to Bissoe bridge and runs 7 days a week.
