Remembrance Day at RLS

This week, at Richard Lander School, we have been remembering those who lost their lives in conflicts past and present, those who fought with them and alongside them, and all those affected by war.
Students have been selling paper poppies and creating PowerPoint presentations to illustrate what remembrance means to them. The best PowerPoint presentation, by Georgiana Jefferies, will be used when  we hold a whole school 2 minutes silence at 2:10 pm on Friday 9th November, during tutor time.
Craft Club have been crocheting poppies and selling them to members of staff and parents. They have been working hard all week and have made over £65 through their combined endeavours which will be donated to The British Legion.
Well Done!
