Saturday 18th May saw members of the Richard Lander choirs join with Truro School, Truro High School, Truro Choral Society and Truro Symphony Orchestra to perform The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, by Karl Jenkins, at Truro Cathedral. The theme of the piece is that the armed man must be feared, and although taken from a 15th Century French song is painfully relevant to the 20th century.
As always our students were great ambassadors for the school and sang their hearts out.
Mr Pascoe said “This was a fantastic opportunity for our students and I was hugely impressed with the professionalism which they displayed on the night”
If you missed the performance on Saturday, there will be another opportunity to hear it on Sunday 9th June at the Eden Project.
