Some students went down to the opening of the new Coosebean Link cycle path before half term and had a great time as you can see. The path is car free and passes through really nice scenery linking Malabar and Treliske Lane.
Richard Lander are continuing to work with Sustrans to promote sustainable travel to school and the path is a significant contribution to this work making cycling to and from the city centre a much more enjoyable and safer experience. There are some other traffic free cycle routes marked on a pocket size map available at student reception.
Nick Radcliff from Sustrans is coming into school on Friday 14th June to offer bike maintenance sessions with pupils.
