Report by Zak Minett for Press Pack

It's safe to say that students from all year groups ,dressed in their best, had a very exciting night as they partied at real life night club, The Office.

On the last day before half term, in a bid to raise money for Richard Lander’s partner schools in Uganda, the disco was staged in nightclub, The Office, in Truro. It lasted a staggering 3 hours from 7pm to 10pm and tickets cost £5.

The nightclub itself has 3 floors including a dance floor with a smoke machine. On the night, the club was patrolled by bouncers and had a DJ who played songs such as Gangnam Style, Harlem Shake and 'Just give me a reason' by Pink.

There were 2 bars where you could buy drinks, with the options of fizzy pop, Red Bull or juice. Miss Elliott, main organiser and leader of the Uganda project, commented on the night, ''I loved seeing everyone dress up ready to party. Great fun seemed to be had by all. Watch this space for the next event''.

Jameson Hudson, year 7 said “ It was very loud and exciting.”

Amy Wills, year 7 added “ Amazing great atmosphere.”

Rannon Johnson , year 7 said “ I think the night is really good, firstly because it is good stylish music, and secondly because they sell energy drinks.”
A special thanks to Miss Elliott for organising the event, raising a staggering £455 for the Ugandan schools, which a few lucky year tens will be visiting this summer.
