Never ones to be outdone, the Cousin Jacks, who were not present at the Cathedral Coir Service for obvious reasons, have been spreading their festive irreverence and jocularity around the county all month!
They put on a highly entertaining performance at the Informal Christmas Concert held here in school on Thursday 12th December but naturally one occasion was not enough for the Jacks and so they embarked on a Primary School tour much to the delight of our future students from St Mary’s, Chacewater, Shortlanesend, Bosvigo and Archbishop Benson Schools.
It would appear that the Jacks’ particular brand of enthusiasm, tongue in cheek humour and popular song choice (and of course talent) is ageless in it’s appeal as earlier this month they spent a lunchtime and afternoon at Penmorvah Manor Hotel in Falmouth where they sang for their “supper” (well, full Christmas roast dinner actually) to the Carrick Over 50’s. They had impressed these good folk so much last year that they had been invited back and treated to a delicious meal!!
