After spending the morning of their last ever working day at Richard Lander School dressed in the most bizarre of fancy dress costumes, students arrived transformed into sophisticated young adults to the Penventon Hotel in Redruth at 7pm. The car park was abuzz with parents, staff and the West Briton all taking photographs to mark the event as students arrived in tractors, horse drawn carriages, vintage cars, sports cars and even a steam engine!. They enjoyed a delicious three course meal and then danced the night away to music from across the decades provided by "Chain Reaction Discos" accompanied by various members of staff.
The behaviour of our students was excellent and a great evening was had by all.
Thank you Year 11 for making us so proud and thank you Mr Gibson for organising such a terrific evening. We wish all our Year 11 students the very best for their futures.
