After weeks of rehearsals and very hard work 76 Year 9 students took their Fire Safety Tour out to Mount Hawke, Mithian, Cusgarne and Chacewater schools last week.
The Year 9 drama students performed thirteen short plays each with a very important fire safety message. The hour long show was very well received by the primary school audiences as the plays used humour, dance and role play to get their messages across.
Each play was introduced by our four narrators George Wiltshire, Tegan Bartlam, Freya Libby and Georgia Ferguson. Some of the topics covered included being safe with sparklers, BBQ safety and the importance of checking your smoke alarm. The primary school audiences listened very carefully and went home with some very important fire safety advice.
