Tate Collective Programme
We were lucky enough to have two representatives from the Tate Gallery in St Ives come into school and deliver assemblies to Year 10 and 11 about the Tate Collective Programme and how Richard Lander students might get involved.
The Tate Collective St Ives are a community of young people in Cornwall that meet up regularly to talk about art, collaborate, create, experiment, plan and deliver new projects for other young people aged 15-25.
Our students can get involved by joining the Collective. There are regular Saturday meetings in St Ives where young people collaborate, experiment and design new projects for other young people. The sessions are free with lunch provided and are open to all - no previous art experience needed and students don’t have to be studying GCSE Art.
These are also drop in sessions so students don’t have to commit to going to them all.
It’s a great opportunity and any students who are interested can email email@example.com or see Ms Dalby in the Art base.
