On Thursday December 6th our Young Enterprise company, Study Smart, sent representatives to Truro College to take part in a Dragon’s Den Support Event.
The teams were invited to make a formal presentation to the ‘Dragons’ introducing their fledgling companies and their main products. Our 4 students gave a really professional and cohesive presentation on their company - Study Smart - and their product - a personalised kit made by GCSE students for GCSE students to help young people study in the most effective way for them. The team received some excellent feedback from the panel of judges and also enjoyed meeting some of the other teams
Supporting the YE Company Programme and Start-Up teams at the event were Pirate FM’s Managing Director Mark Peters, Grant Batty of Pixel Rain, Nicholas Pearson of Unlocking Potential, Business Development Manager Katie Chandler of the Cornwall Association of Primary Heads, Stephanie Anderson Area Manager for Young Enterprise.
