Richard Lander School GCSE Results 2021
Congratulations to all our students and their families on achieving record exam results this year. This is even more impressive when you consider the extraordinary challenges they have needed to overcome throughout the two years of their GCSE course. These results are well deserved for all students. We thank them for their hard work, determination and resilience.
Of particular note are the 12 students who gained 5 or more grade 9s, the highest grade possible. Of these, 3 students gained grade 9 in 8 of their chosen courses.
Over a third of our students gained 5 or more 9-7 grades – the equivalent to the old A/A* grade with 83% of our students gaining 5 or more 9-4 grades – the equivalent of the old A* – C measure.
All of our students move onto their next phase with our heartfelt thanks and best wishes. We look forward to hearing of their successes over the coming years.
